What does the Lotus Henna logo stand for?

Since I work with both Henna and Jagua, the light brown colour represents Henna, while the deep blue stands for Jagua. The lotus pod is a well-known motif in traditional Mehndi design and, in my opinion, complements the logo beautifully.

Why do you work with specific dispatch dates?

I always prepare everything freshly, to ensure the best possible quality. Since it's easier for me to make bigger batches instead of smaller irregular batches, I wait until the orders have collected themselves until Saturday.

The dispatch takes place every monday of each week and the order deadline is until Saturday midnight before each dispatch date.

How many designs are doable with one Henna Cone (20g)?

Approximately 6 to 10 designs, depending on their size, can be created with one Henna cone.

While the cone may appear small, it holds enough paste to create quite a lot!

For intricate bridal Henna designs, however, more than one cone will definitely be required.

How long does a Henna tattoo last?

With proper care, a Henna tattoo can last anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks. The most important factor for a rich and long-lasting stain is the application time: ideally, the paste should remain on the skin for several hours – overnight is best. Keeping the area warm during this time helps the dye penetrate more deeply into the top layer of the skin.

After removing the dried paste, it's helpful to moisturize the skin with a natural oil such as olive, coconut, mustard, or jojoba oil to protect and nourish it. While avoiding water isn't absolutely necessary, delaying contact with water for an hour or two may help the stain last a bit longer.

After removing the dried paste, avoid water for the first 12 hours. To protect and nourish the stain, apply a natural moisturizing oil such as olive, coconut, mustard, or jojoba oil. Hydrated skin holds the stain better and fades more slowly.

How long does a Jagua tattoo last?

A Jagua tattoo typically lasts between 1 and 3 weeks, depending on your skin type, placement, and aftercare. Jagua gel stains the skin in a deep blue-black tone and, like Henna, it needs time to develop.

After application, the gel should stay on the skin for about 2 to 4 hours. Once removed, the stain will appear faint at first and darken over the next 24 to 48 hours. To help the stain last longer, keep the skin moisturized with a natural oil and try to avoid excessive scrubbing or exfoliation.
